Build your own Mimosa Bar

Building your own mimosa bar at home is surprisingly simple

There is just something about the Spring Sunday morning that begs for the brunch-inspired meal. Maybe it's the fresh breath of the reemergence of the flowers in the garden, or this little hint of summer in the air, but easy and casual gatherings are nearly a requirement come the weekend. My favorite Foundation is managed for brunch? Mimosas, of course!

This season I have challenged myself to find the hosting quick and easy brunch in the magic words and the results surprised even me. A well designed a grocery store list and collection of party accessories, ready for our pantry, it was easy to pull off and left me a lot of time to indulge in a citrusy, champagne filled glass or two.

All the fixings for the perfect Sunday brunch at home

When you have set up the bar Cart in the dining room scene felt a little flat. So, to give the space some dimension, I grabbed a large hole punch (one is used in this post on how to create beautiful tablescape) and cut out several circles of three coordinating Scrapbook paper sheets. Rolled back to tape stuck on the back of each circle gets me to follow them temporarily on the wall behind the cart of instant (and free!) style.

Finally, you need a big drink of the urn, cake stand and the tiny bowls and hors d'oeuvres servers. These are the songs you can serve the basics — orange juice, mimosa, some bite-size breakfast pastries and fruit decoration of mimosas. A collection of Champagne glasses, vase of flowers and a bottle of your favorite bubbly to complete the look.
