3 Easily Decorative Pillow DIYs

Hi There! My name is Carrie and I am a hoarder throw pillows. Joking aside, my addiction (a little frivolous) decorative accessories is nothing new, and is still not on a tight budget. So to make my money go away and still get the style right here at home, I came up with three super simple ways to dress up a basic pillows that won't break the Bank.

Supplies for 3 Easy Decorative Pillow DIYs

To begin with, I've gathered a heap of craft supplies get the job done: the pins buckles, fabric flowers, with black acrylic paint and pom-pom trim.

My first DIY decorated pillow, I used a hot glue gun to add the pom-pom cut $ 12 white pillow insert. To get home, dab displays a dot or short, thin line of hot glue you have to cut back and slide a pillow on top. Repeat this for every inch or so. I decided to add my cut at the same time, the diagonal pattern, but you can make the style — a zigzag the edges of right angles, or even just a circular, circular pattern. It is completely up to you!

Project # 2 I added pins buckles on the backs of two flowers, ready-to-go supplies purchased at your local craft store. In particular, a bunch of flowers became the blanket in the background and the thread "arms," which is why the transition effortlessly. Only peeled back to reveal the adhesive side of the pins in the paper onto the blanket and then wrapped the cord around the firmly into the bargain. Then I pinned them in the lower right corner of the my favorite Mint-colored pillow. If the pins do not come with glue already, a small line of super glue should do the trick.

The final, complete a last-minute trick I picked up the Paintbrush (nothing to do, really) and black acrylic paint. Dipped in paint brush and then dabbed it in front of the whole messy white 2nd add dollops of craft store, this time round. While you can try to make pitches a little bit more cohesive, I liked the brushed-on edges, which bristles missed. Let the paint dry for at least an hour or two before putting a pillow to use.
