This year, wearing a cropped jean jacket to the rodeo is a must. But you don’t have to go out and spend loads of money to get this chic denim look. You can transform an old jacket in just a few easy steps.
Start with a jacket that fits well and just needs to have some of the length removed.
Use your trusty seam ripper to remove the bottom of the denim jacket.
Remove any buttons that might get in the way of your new hem.
Fold hem under twice and pin.
Use a heavy denim (100/16) needle to sew the hem in place.
Topstitch the hem for a finished look.
And now you’re ready to go cheer for your favorite bull rider in style.
It is perfect to wear with your Western Inspired Belt Bracelet we made last week.
